In July 2022, Clínicas Hospital in Paraguay, the Hospital Museum, and visual artist Viviana Chamorro Urbieta collaborated to create an Audiovisual Exhibition at the Hospital Museum, aiming to pay a posthumous tribute to the colleagues who tragically lost their lives to Covid-19. They invited the participation of all staff members and their families. Over the course of a month, employees from every department of the hospital contributed with photos, audios, videos, and stories that revealed the ingenuity, courage, and determination of a human team that, despite limited resources, dedicated itself to serving the most underprivileged. This publication is a compilation of photos and stories shared in this exhibition, thus becoming a photographic document of an extraordinary period. It not only narrates the extreme experiences lived in the hospital during the pandemic but also transports us to that moment in Paraguay and, furthermore, to the global context in which everything unfolded.

En Julio de 2022, el Hospital de Clínicas de Paraguay, el Museo del Hospital y la artista visual Viviana Chamorro Urbieta montaron una Exhibición Audiovisual en el Museo del Hospital de Clínicas a fin de rendir un póstumo homenaje a los compañeros que fallecieron víctimas de Covid-19.
Para ello pidieron la participación de todos los funcionarios y familiares. Durante el transcurso de un mes trabajadores de todos los departamentos del hospital contribuyeron con fotos, audios, videos e historias que revelaban el ingenio, el coraje y la determinación de un equipo humano que sin recursos se puso al servicio a los más pobres.
Esta publicación es una compilación de fotos e historias compartidas en esta exhibición y se constituye así en un documento fotográfico de un tiempo extraordinario puesto que no sólo relata las vivencias extremas vividas en el hospital durante la pandemia, sino también nos transporta al Paraguay de ese momento, y aún mas, al contexto global en el que todo sucedió.
